The oldest of these figures dates back to paleolithic times, some <strong>40,000 years ago</strong>. They are thought to represent ancient fertility goddesses and are characteristically depicted with generous female attributes. The <strong>Venus of Cupertino</strong> is a modern take on this ancient fertility symbol.</p>

Watterson&#8217;s art has largely been unavailable, and who&#8217;s original work is only rivaled by Charles Schulz&#8217;s Peanuts strip. This watercolor is predicted to fetch an upward of $50,000 USD.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.nokia.com/" target="_blank">Nokia</a> “Kinetic Device” made its debut at the <a href="http://events.nokia.com/nokiaworld/" target="_blank">Nokia World show</a> in London recently. Two years in the making, this gesture-based gadget lacks keys or buttons in favor of a thin flat OLED screen, which executes commands when the body of the device is flexed. Experimental carbon nanotubes within the device allow it to be twisted and warped to scroll through photo albums or stop and play music. Designer Tapani Jokinen maintains that this Kinetic Device will likely not see production soon but represents the tip of the innovation iceberg from the Scandinavian mobile company.</p>
